This Privacy Policy explains how Lodestar Commerce LLC ("we", "us"), which operates Kindly Lane at kindlylane.com (the "Store"), collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or buy from the Store.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number (if provided), order details, and messages you send us.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment providers (Shopify Payments and other checkout options). We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, clicks and scrolling, referring site, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • To process and deliver your order, send order and shipping updates, and handle returns.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the Store secure.
  • To understand how the Store is used and improve it.
  • To show you ads and, if you subscribe, send marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Store:

  • Shopify (store platform, checkout and payments). See Shopify's privacy policy.
  • Fulfillment partners and shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram), through the Meta Pixel, to measure and show ads.
  • Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use our pages (clicks, scrolling, page views) so we can improve the site. Clarity does not record what you type into payment fields.
  • Shopify Email, to send marketing emails if you subscribe.
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Using advertising cookies (such as the Meta Pixel) may count as "sharing" for targeted advertising under some U.S. state laws. You can opt out as described below.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand site usage, and support advertising. Where required, we ask for your consent through a cookie banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other U.S. states), you may have the right to:

Data retention

We keep order records as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes, and other information only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Children

The Store is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
